My friend Elizabeth and I were biking to another southern Oregon town nestled among vineyards and old barns. We were speaking of long, solo drives and she shared a story of driving by herself from Portland to Alaska in four days. She said she was tired, frustrated, perhaps a bit bored, but above all feeling ready to just be in Denali and out of her truck. Then something clicked for her, empowering herself to get into the experience of her journey:
I then realized, Sara, that if you change your mind you can change your world.
Wow! Something clicked on for me too when she shared that. The power of the mind is both powerfully beautiful and terrible. Use yours to change your world for the positive.
